Native Habitat: Africa:
Upper Cross and Mo drainage systems, southwestern Cameroon.
Temperament: A little aggressive and
territorial.
Feeding: Some flake foods high in protein and
adult brine shrimp and/or bloodworms, along with live foods such as
grindal worms,
white worms,
Daphnia,
Moina, and newly
hatch brine shrimp nauplii
Sexing: Males
are colorful and females are a drab orange-brown
General Comment: Not
recommended for the beginner. As with all killifish, keep one
species per tank of 5 -10 gal. size. Populations:
